Create reliable product records individually or bring a larger catalogue into Compazz from a spreadsheet.

Start with clean product records
Use one naming pattern across the catalogue so staff can search quickly and reports stay readable. A simple brand, product, and size pattern works well for many stores.
- Use a recognisable product name
- Confirm selling price and opening quantity
- Choose a consistent category
- Add a barcode or SKU when available
Add a small catalogue manually
Manual entry is useful when you are starting with a small selection or adding a new item during normal operations. Review the saved record before moving to the next product.
Prepare a spreadsheet import
For a larger catalogue, clean the spreadsheet first. Remove duplicate rows, standardise category names, and make sure numeric fields contain only the expected values.
Verify a sample after import
Check several products from different categories after importing. Confirm names, prices, quantities, and barcodes before the catalogue is used at checkout.

Keep the original import file until the catalogue has been checked and approved.
