Prepare the checkout
Confirm the correct outlet and staff member before starting. Keep a small basket of known products nearby so you can verify each step without customer pressure.
Build the basket
Scan or search for each product, confirm the quantity, and check that the price matches the shelf or approved price list.
Choose the payment method
Select the payment method actually used. Keeping cash and non-cash payments accurate makes the end-of-day reconciliation much easier.
Verify the completed transaction
Confirm the receipt total, transaction record, staff attribution, payment method, and the expected reduction in stock.
Compazz tip
Resolve a missing item or wrong price before completing the transaction rather than correcting several records later.
